Our engineers build custom workflows, document templates and system integrations specifically for how your firm works — at no additional cost. Most legal platforms charge £5,000–£20,000 for bespoke configuration. On Enterprise, this is included as standard.

On Growth, AI features run on shared inference infrastructure — your data is always isolated, but compute is shared. On Enterprise, you get a private AI model with isolated compute and data, fine-tuned on your firm's own precedents and drafting style. The AI drafts in your firm's voice and no other firm can ever influence or access it.

Yes — on Enterprise. On-premise deployment means SpineLegal runs entirely on your own infrastructure, inside your own data centre. This is relevant for firms with strict data sovereignty requirements, government clients, or internal IT policies restricting cloud deployment. We handle the full deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Growth or Growth to Enterprise at any point. All your data, matters and documents carry over automatically — no re-onboarding. Downgrades are possible at your next renewal date and we do not lock you into long-term contracts on monthly billing.

SpineLegal is built on Microsoft Azure with data residency controls, full audit logs and compliance configurations for SRA (UK), GDPR (EU), UAE PDPL, India DPDPA and the Australian Privacy Act 1988. Compliance rules update automatically when regulations change. As a result, your firm stays compliant at all times. Enterprise firms can request a full security briefing.
